Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate primary care and addiction medicine physicians to join a multidisciplinary team at two Harm Reduction Health Hubs in Skid Row, Los Angeles. These sites provide holistic, low-barrier care to individuals experiencing homelessness and substance use. The role includes direct patient care, along with opportunities to lead clinical programs addressing overdose prevention, communicable diseases, mental health crises, and more. Physicians will work in both an outpatient clinic and a short-term community respite space, with services grounded in harm reduction and trauma-informed care. Ideal candidates are committed to non-judgmental, patient-centered care for marginalized populations with complex needs.

Key responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive care to patients experiencing homelessness with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders across clinic, community respite, and street-based settings.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, withdrawal, post-overdose recovery, and provide treatment for substance use disorders including buprenorphine initiation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and partner organizations to provide integrated, trauma-informed, harm-reduction care.
• Counsel patients on safer drug use and overdose prevention; ensure quality, protocol adherence, and timely EHR documentation.
• Supervise and consult with NP/PA providers, including regular chart reviews per organizational protocols.
