Requirements to Apply:
- Bilingual English / Spanish is REQUIRED
- Education/Degrees: High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Years of experience: Minimum of 2 years of Administrative Assistant experience within the healthcare field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a California driver’s license
- Good organizational skills. Ability to handle complex interpersonal situations.
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Times: 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Location: West Los Angeles, CA
Training Location: Training will take place in Reseda, CA. Mileage between locations will be reimbursed during the training period.
Pay rate: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
Under the supervision of the PACE Center Executive Director the Admin Assistant is responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative and clerical support functions for the PACE Center.
Responsibilities:
- Securely maintains all PACE center incorporation documents including bylaws and tax exemption records.
- Securely maintains all PACE center Clinic and Center licensing documents.
- Schedules PACE center Board of Directors meetings by communicating directly with Board members, prepares and distributes agendas, takes Board meeting minutes, and maintains meeting records.
- Schedules PACE center Medical Advisory Committee, Quality Improvement Committee, Ethics Committee, Participant Advisory Committee, Infection Control Committee, Medication Safety and Quality Committee, Safety and Utilization Review Committee via e-mail, prepares and distributes agendas, takes meeting minutes, and maintains meeting records.
- Tracks and organizes CalPACE agendas and documents for Executive Director.
- Schedule and prepares agendas for Management Meetings.
- Prepares and distributes Provider Schedule as well as On-Call Schedule.
- Schedules Provider and staff orientation when requested.
- Assists with PACE center reception coverage.
- Maintains and updates conference room scheduling for PACE activities
- Consistently meets or exceeds PACE customer services targets
