BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROVIDER (LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC) - $2500 Sign-on Bonus!




DORCHESTER, MA




Must have the following qualifications to apply:



  • Current MA LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Worker) or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist 

  • Master's Degree in relevant discipline 

  • 2 years of experience providing therapy in individual, family and/or group modalities preferred, based on licensure

  • Current Massachusetts LADC1 preferred.

  • One year of clinical experience in substance abuse treatment preferred.



The BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROVIDER provides direct psychotherapy services to behavioral health patients and assists the Director in clinical functions of the department; developing and implementing policies and procedures; collecting data and developing reports.




HYBRID-REMOTE (after 6 months): 


During the 1st six months of employment, the BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROVIDER meets with patients onsite at the health center 5 days/week but after the probationary period will have the option of conducting up to 50% of visits remotely (telehealth).




SCHEDULE: FULL TIME; Mon - Fri 

HOURS: 8a-5p

SALARY: up to $90k DOE and licensure



LOAN REPAYMENT - Up to $25k each year for 2 years!!!

Job is located at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and site is eligible for Federal Loan Repayment Programs (National Health Services Corps) and State Loan Repayment Programs (https://nhsc.hrsa.gov/).

 


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Performs intakes, evaluations and provides therapy.

  • Actively participates in extended primary care teams, participates on treatment teams focusing on behavioral issues with patients using brief therapies, crisis management and consultations. 

  • Obtains insurance authorization for all patients and tracks visits and obtains re-authorization.

  • Completes comprehensive assessments, quarterly treatment updates and discharge summaries.

  • Coordinates behavioral health treatment with psychiatry and primary care providers including integrated Behavioral Health services as directed. 

  • Performs collateral case work for patients such as completing disability forms, consulting with other providers, teachers and institutions.

  • Facilitates trainings, case conferences, and conducts Utilization Review. 

  • Provides clinical supervision for behavioral health staff and/or interns as directed by Behavioral Health Director.

  • Attends case conferences and in-services when required.
