Call Processing Representative Role Overview


This role is centered within a high-volume, fast-paced inbound call center, where the primary focus is to provide an outstanding customer service experience to patients. The Call Processing Representative is crucial in managing the flow of communications within our network of primary care and specialty clinics. This involves handling about 60-80 calls daily, addressing patient inquiries, and facilitating appointment-related processes.




Key Responsibilities:



  • Answering incoming calls from patients, vendors, insurance companies, and other medical facilities.

  • Managing patient appointments efficiently through calls, SMS, and our Patient Portal.

  • Screening and routing calls to appropriate departments to ensure accurate registration and follow-up.

  • Maintaining effective communication and relationships within and across departments.


 


Required Qualifications :
 

Temp to Hire 

Hours: 10:00am-6:30pm (30 min lunch) Mon-Sat with a day off during the week 

Location: SYH Corporate office: 1601 Precision Park Lane, San Ysidro, CA 92173 

 


Requirements for the Position:


High School Diploma or equivalent 


 


Experience required: 1 year of healthcare exp or 1 year in a call center, front desk, receptionist, admin assistant or a combo of equal to 1 yr. 


 


Payrates Min $25.99 - max$38.99 (Pay is based on years of relevant exp.)
