CENTER MEDICAL DIRECTOR


Salary Range - $250,000 - $270,000 DOE




We have an immediate need for a direct hire, full time Center Medical Director at one of our growing centers!

Newport News, VA in the eastern part of Virginia, midway between Williamsburg and Norfolk/Virginia Beach. Part of the Tidewater/Hampton Roads region, Newport News is on the north side of the James River. It is a great place to live! Job Overview


The Center Medical Director (CMD) provides medical care for Senior patients; and, responsible for the medical care across a variety of settings, including but not limited to the ADHC clinic, participants’ homes, the nursing home, assisted living facilities and personal care boarding homes.




Responsibilities



  • Primary Care/Patient Care - Estimated Percent of time Spent – 65%

  • Administrative - Estimated Percent of time Spent – 15%

  • Supervision - Estimated Percent of time Spent – 20%

Required Qualifications :



 Requirements







  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree; Current; active and unrestricted PA State Medical License and DEA number

  • Board Certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics

  • Experience in Quality Metrics and Utilization Review oversight 

  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, with some experience in an outpatient setting

  • Passion for working with senior populations

  • Willingness and interest in being a hands-on leader

  • Local travel on occasion if needed
