Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)

Location: Chula Vista, CA 91910

Schedule: Full-Time - Mon- Fri 8:00 AM -8:30 PM (including weekends)

Pay: $25.00- $31.64/hour
Bill Rate: $44.94

Requirements: 1–2 years lab experience, Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Job Type: Temp, 4-month assignment with possible extension

Position Summary:
Seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Phlebotomy Technician to support a busy urgent care environment. 

Responsibilities:

  Perform venipuncture and specimen collection

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare and label lab specimens accurately

  
  


• 
  

  Follow infection control and safety protocols

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain clean and organized work areas

  
  


• 
  

  Enter patient data into EMR systems

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with patient flow and clinical support tasks

  
  


• 
  

  Provide excellent customer service

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with clinical staff

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain equipment and supply inventory

  
  


• 
  

  Adhere to HIPAA and clinical compliance standards

  
  

• 
  

  High School Diploma or GED

  
  


• 
  

  Current California State Phlebotomy Licensure

  
  


• 
  

  Current CPR Certification

  
  


• 
  

  1–2 years of medical laboratory experience preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient in medical terminology

  
  


• 
  

  Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, not required

  Must be available weekends
