Certified Medical Assistant – Bilingual Spanish

Location: Lancaster, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Clinic hours range from 7:30am – 6:30pm. Some Saturdays as needed.

Pay: $21/hour

Job Type: Temp to Hire (with potential for full-time conversion)

Job Summary:

Cross Country Workforce Solutions Group (CCWSG) is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a Community Clinic in Lancaster, CA. The CMA must be Nationally Certified, no exceptions will be made.

The Certified Medical Assistant will be under the direct supervision of the Clinic Process and Quality Manager, and with direction from the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Medical Officer, the Certified Medical Assistant assists physicians, mid-level providers and other care team members in the delivery of efficient and high-quality healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews EMR the day before in preparation of primary care patient visits.


• Greets and registers patients, check-in and check-out patients, and maintain the flow of patients in the clinic floor.


• Identifies and documents the single chief complaint for the visit.


• Prepare patient for examination.


• Take and document vital signs in EPIC


• Other duties as assigned.

• Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant recognized by a Nationally Accrediting Body, such as AAMA, NHA, and CCBMA.


• High School Diploma or GED


• BLS from American Heart Association (can be completed before start)
