Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA


Vista, CA


 


You must have the following qualifications to be considered:



  • Bilingual English and Spanish

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Certified nursing assistant certificate

  • At least six (6) months experience as a personal care aide, in a professional or personal care setting.

  • Current BLS card

  • Physical clearance for reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and grasping; have full range of motion; ability to lift 50 lbs.; need to lift and transfer participants.


 


The Certified Nursing Assistant provides support to the team in the delivery of personal care to participants and to participants in need of companionship services to and from medical appointments. Services include Activities of Daily Living, assist with home delivery of meals and medical supplies. Position may also assist in other areas such as kitchen, primary care, and therapy.


 


Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Pay Rate:  $19.49 to $26.19 hourly Depending on Years of Experience

Responsibilities:



  • Provides direct personal care to participants. Duties will include showering, toileting, laundry and feeding assistance and companionship services to and from medical appointments. May include ambulation and transferring assistance.

  • Supports and assistances with meal and snack service.

  • Will provide assistance in the kitchen or therapy as needed.

  • Assists in maintaining patient areas in a clean and orderly manner. Cleans and organizes program areas including cleaning of equipment and shower areas.

  • Follows infectious disease precautions to prevent the spread of organism.

  • Attends center staff meetings and in-service educational training programs.

  • Provides home assistance, and assists with ADLs and IADLS, transfers, companionship to doctor’s appointments, etc.
