Certified Phlebotomy Technician 

Location: San Diego, CA 92173
May require coverage at other facilities.

Schedule: Mon- Fri  8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Valid, clean and clear Driver’s License required.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.64/hour (DOE)

Requirements:

• 
  

  California State Phlebotomy License

  
  


• 
  

  1–2 years of medical lab experience preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient in medical terminology

  
  

Job Type: Temp 4-month assignment with the possibility of extension

Position Summary:

Certified Phlebotomy Technician will support urgent care and clinical lab operations.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Perform venipuncture and other blood collection techniques

  
  


• 
  

  Properly label and handle specimens

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff

  
  


• 
  

  Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

  
  


• 
  

  Travel to alternate clinic sites as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Provide compassionate, patient-centered care

  
  


• 
  

  Support lab operations and assist with specimen transport/logistics

  
  


• 
  

  Document procedures in accordance with regulations and guidelines

  
  

• 
  

  Current California CPT license

  
  


• 
  

  Valid CPR certification

  
  


• 
  

  High school diploma or GED

  
  


• 
  

  1–2 years of relevant lab/clinical experience preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus

  Must be able to travel to alternate clinic locations
