Location: Alpine Family Medicine – 1620 Alpine Blvd, Alpine, CA 91901
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $25.03 - $28.09 - $31.64/hour
Bill Rate: $44.94/hour
Job Type: Full Time, 4-month Temp Assignment (Potential for Extension)

Requirements:

  Current California Phlebotomy License (CPT)

  
  


• 
  

  CPR Certification (Current)

  
  


• 
  

  High School Diploma or GED

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical lab setting

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient in medical terminology

  
  


• 
  

  Valid, clean driver’s license

  
  


• 
  

  Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required

  
  

Position Summary:
Under direct supervision, the CPT will perform phlebotomy, heel and finger sticks, operate and maintain Point of Care lab equipment, and ensure accurate and timely specimen handling and documentation. This position may require travel to other SY Health facilities as needed.

  Perform venipuncture, heel, and finger sticks

  
  


• 
  

  Collect, label, and process specimens according to lab protocols

  
  


• 
  

  Operate and maintain CLIA-waived Point of Care testing equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare exam rooms and manage supply inventory

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate clearly with patients and staff

  
  


• 
  

  Follow infection control and safety procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Support accurate order entry and results tracking

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure timely reporting of test results

  
  


• 
  

  Provide coverage at other locations as needed
