     CLINICAL SUPERVISOR, RN Home Health


Salary: $120- $125K annual, DOE; plus sign on bonus!




We have an immediate need for a direct hire, full time Clinical Supervisor, to oversee our Brighton area VNA/Home Health nurses. We are an award-winning organization that offers a great culture, where you will work with a professional, supportive, and collaborative team.

The Clinical Supervisor provides program level guidance, quality measures, and recommendations to the home health RNs, LPNs, home health aides, and other clinical support teams that support our participants in the greater Brighton area. Patients are all ages, with focus in geriatrics and senior patients.


 


Responsibilities include:




  • Oversees a team of Home Health RNs and LPNs.




  • Review documentation on patients for accuracy.




  • Ensure MCA compliance. 




  • Works in the Brighton office full time.




  • Assists with recruitment and training of staff within the discipline.




  • Serve as liaison to local referring hospital, ensuring continued VNA referrals (some weekly local travel)




  • Participates in the oversight of related contracted vendors.




  • Monitors regulations to identify, communicate and when appropriate and to implement needed changes.





Required Qualifications :












Education




  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (AA) school. (Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred)




  • Active and unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts




  • Certification: CPR certification or willingness to be certified




Experience Required




  • OASIS D experience




  • At least 3 (three) years of supervisory experience working with frail elders in a health care setting.




  • Experience within a company where Medicaid/Medicare home health care (MCA) regulations (CoPs, DPH interpretive guidelines) are used. 




  • Oversight of RNs in Home Health 




  • Knowledge of the nursing care planning process and quality improvement process for optimal patient care 




  • Possess nursing assessment skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team model.




  • Valid MA driver's license and ability to drive to local hospitals on occasion




  • Bilingual Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian or other language preferred but not required.
