Director of Ambulatory Perioperative Services
$178,000 approximate salary (dependent on experience)
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Arkansas
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Significant leadership experience in perioperative/OR settings
- Proven ability to lead change, execute operational plans, and manage high-performing teams
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to collaborate with and lead alongside physicians
We’re seeking a full-time, Director of Ambulatory Perioperative Services to lead surgical services, nursing operations, and clinical team development at a new state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center in Little Rock, AR.
Job Overview:
This is a unique opportunity to lead the perioperative operations of a newly constructed ambulatory surgery center, opening in 2026. The Director will oversee clinical and operational functions including the OR, PACU, GI Lab, Sterile Processing, and Ambulatory Surgery. You’ll guide an evolving team through a period of strategic growth, building new workflows, developing staff, and ensuring excellence in patient care. Key focus areas include program development, implementation of a dual induction room model, and coordination with leadership across specialties such as ENT, orthopedics, and GI.
