Salary: $104,000 – $140,000 plus annual incentive bonus


 



Requirements to Apply
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred (or enrolled, with completion within 3 years)
• Active RN license in Wisconsin or compact-eligible state
• Minimum 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience
• Demonstrated success in operational and strategic leadership, team development, and change management
• Experience in inpatient nursing operations, staffing, and regulatory compliance

Job Overview
We are seeking a forward-thinking and collaborative Director of Nursing (DON) to lead Medical Pediatrics unit at a flagship Level II Trauma Center in Central Wisconsin. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this role blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership across four core service lines. The ideal candidate will bring energy, innovation, and the ability to inspire teams during a time of transformation. You’ll play a key role in achieving Pathway to Excellence designation, reconfiguring unit structures, enhancing patient throughput, and building a thriving nursing culture aligned with organizational values.
