Cross Country Workforce Solutions Group (CCWSG) is hiring for an experienced Enviromental Services / Housekeeping Supervisor for a hospital in Chicago, IL (Near West End & Tri-Taylor)




The EVS Supervisor will be working directly within the Operating Room units. Position details include, but not limited to:



  • Oversee the cleanliness and hygiene of the operating rooms, ensuring adherence to strict infection control protocols.

  • Supervise and train EVS staff in effective cleaning methods and techniques, use of equipment, tools, and supplies.

  • Manage schedules and allocate tasks to ensure all cleaning operations are completed efficiently and on time.

  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

  • Collaborate with the surgical team and other hospital staff to ensure a sterile and safe environment for patients.


Position Details



  • Full-time, 40 hours per week including weekends and holidays as needed.

  • Days - 9am to 5:30pm

  • 13 week contract with potential for renewal

  • Assignment dates: 7/8 to 10/6

  • Paid every Friday.

  • Benefits eligible after 60 days.

  • Competitive salary, up to $21/hour depending on experience.

Required Qualifications :
 

You're Probably a Match if You Have



  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years of experience in EVS, specifically in a supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of cleaning methods and techniques, equipment, tools, and supplies.

  • Understanding of infection control practices and the importance of maintaining a sterile environment.

  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

  • Strong teamwork abilities to work harmoniously with others and lead a team.
