Starting Salary: $500,000/yr + $50,000 sign on bonus + $35,000 housing stipend

Job Overview: 




This Community Hospital is seeking a General Surgeon for a rewarding position offering a balanced 4-day work week. The schedule includes mornings in the OR and afternoons in clinic, providing a diverse and engaging workday. The surgeon will oversee one Physician Assistant in the clinic and primarily perform general surgery with a strong focus on endoscopic procedures. Call coverage is required as part of the role, contributing to the hospital’s essential surgical services. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon who values a collaborative, community-focused environment with a manageable and consistent schedule.

Key responsibilities:  






  • Perform surgical procedures to treat a wide range of conditions, including abdominal, gastrointestinal, and soft tissue issues. 








  • Conduct pre-operative and post-operative consultations and care for surgical patients. 








  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging and lab results to determine the need for surgery. 








  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans. 








  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, surgical procedures, and follow-up in medical records.
