Job Overview:
This Community Hospital is seeking a General Surgeon for a rewarding position offering a balanced 4-day work week. The schedule includes mornings in the OR and afternoons in clinic, providing a diverse and engaging workday. The surgeon will oversee one Physician Assistant in the clinic and primarily perform general surgery with a strong focus on endoscopic procedures. Call coverage is required as part of the role, contributing to the hospital’s essential surgical services. Key responsibilities:

Perform surgical procedures to treat a wide range of conditions, including abdominal, gastrointestinal, and soft tissue issues.

Conduct pre-operative and post-operative consultations and care for surgical patients.

Interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging and lab results to determine the need for surgery.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, surgical procedures, and follow-up in medical records.
