Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physician


Salary Range $245,000 to $300,000 + Benefits


 


Requirements to apply:



  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree.

  • Current active California Medical License and DEA license with full prescriptive authority.

  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or Geriatrics.

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical work experience.

  • Minimum of one year working with the frail or elderly.

  • At least one year working with the frail or elderly preferred.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Job Overview      
Our physicians play a crucial role in supporting geriatric participants throughout the week, ensuring comprehensive medical care. Operating in diverse settings, including our Day Center clinic, participants' residences, nursing homes, assisted living, and personal care boarding homes, they coordinate closely with hospital-based providers. The majority of participant visits occur at the clinic, with some physicians specializing in nursing home care. Physical presence is integral to the role, involving four days dedicated to participant visits and one administrative day (open to a 4-day work week). Responsibilities encompass providing medical care to a panel of 95 patients, involving evaluation, diagnosis, and management of medical conditions, including history-taking, physical examinations, diagnostic test interpretation, treatment planning, prescription writing, follow-ups, and effective collaboration with specialists and hospital teams.
