JOB OVERVIEW

Behavioral Health Clinicians will be a part of the Integrated Medical Team and in most cases will report to the Director of Behavioral Health Services:

• You will conduct intake assessments for new patients and re-assess for continuing patients.


• Advocate for and assist assigned patients gain access to resources.


• Participate in creating an appropriate plan of care, using a collaborative approach with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other team members.


• Assist patients in confronting their medical and behavioral issues, using individual therapy and group therapy sessions, and other healing modalities as the situation requires.


• Some intervention may be needed for substance use disorder, trauma care and such.

•  M.S.W. degree


• ACSW registration or LCSW license


• 1-5 years+ of post grad experience in a clinical setting, working with patients in 1:1 therapy and with some group work. (More years of experience will be paid on the higher end of pay scale)


• Prefer outpatient experience but will consider those who have worked in a hospital setting or other, etc.
