Salary Range $104,000 to $118,000


 


Requirements to apply:



  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.

  • Active LCSW license in California.

  • 3+ years of experience with children and adolescents.

  • Experience on an interdisciplinary team.

  • Understanding of trauma's impact on behavioral and medical conditions.

  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments (e.g., sand/play therapy, DBT, CBT, Seeking Safety, Motivational Interviewing).

  • Familiarity with mental health emergency procedures (5150, CPS/APS reporting, Tarasoff reporting).

  • Experience with substance abuse disorders (preferred).

  • Experience in a medical setting (preferred).

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Job Overview


The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will provide behavioral health services to children and adolescents at a Federally Qualified Health Center. The role supports our mission to improve the health and well-being of underserved populations in the Los Angeles area. Responsibilities include adhering to all behavioral health contract requirements, such as staffing, scope of work, and documentation, as well as ensuring effective use of funding, maintaining staff productivity, and enhancing patient satisfaction. If eligible, the LCSW will also provide clinical supervision to Associate Social Workers (ASWs). The productivity goal for this position is to see an average of 8-10 patients per day.


We are looking for a candidate with over three years of experience working with children and adolescents, who has a solid understanding of child and adolescent development, behavioral interventions, and therapies for young people with behavioral issues. The ideal candidate should also have experience with mental health diagnoses, treatment planning, and interventions for children and adolescents. Familiarity with the Los Angeles area is important to facilitate collaboration with other agencies effectively.
