  • Licensed in California as an LCSW and have up to two years of clinical experience post master’s degree and preferably some experience in medical social work.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Job Overview      
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will offer clinical social work services to individuals, families, and groups dealing with various psychological and emotional challenges. These may include issues such as adjustment to illness, domestic violence, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, mood disorders, substance abuse, and family dynamics. Working within a strength-based model, the LCSW collaborates with clients to develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans. Services are provided both within medical facilities and in individual counseling settings. Additionally, the LCSW offers crisis counseling, conducts outreach in community settings, facilitates specialized counseling groups, and participates in case review meetings. Timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes is maintained, along with court-related responsibilities such as psycho-social evaluations and court appearances when needed. The LCSW also assists clients in achieving specific goals related to weight management, pain control, stress adjustment, and substance abuse education. Referrals to additional community and in-house support services are made as necessary to supplement office-based treatment and counseling.
