Requirements to apply:



  • Minimum 1-year MAT experience necessary.

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with 2 years post-master’s clinical experience required, preferably in medical social work.

  • Valid NPI required.

  • Current CPR/BCLS certification for infants and adults mandatory.

Job Overview


The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) collaborates with medical and behavioral health providers, care team members, and community referral partners to deliver counseling services related to medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders within a growing behavioral health department. Responsibilities include conducting initial case management intakes, adhering to state and federal guidelines for patient care, actively collaborating with clinical and non-clinical staff, and providing culturally sensitive assessments and evaluations for patients of all ages. Additionally, the LCSW independently develops treatment plans, documents progress notes in a timely manner, conducts substance use evaluations, and offers crisis intervention as needed. This role also involves coordinating care with primary care providers, maintaining confidential records, participating in behavioral health meetings, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and organizational policies.
