Quick Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist physicians and clinicians in providing comprehensive patient care. This role requires a measure of independent judgment and is essential for delivering quality patient care, performing exams, and conducting patient education.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the assessment, examination, and treatment of patients.
- Record vital signs and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications as prescribed and coordinate patient flow in the clinic.
- Maintain and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- E-scribe or phone in prescriptions according to protocol.
- Assist with patient education and community outreach as needed.
- Perform ancillary procedures such as EKGs, tympanometry, and audiometry.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Current Practical Nurses License in the state of Georgia
- 1-2 years of practical nursing experience
Minimum Qualifications: Practical Nurses License in the State of Georgia. Acquired nursing skills with one to two years of practical nursing experience. Knowledge of all phases of primary health care delivery. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to read, comprehend, and transmit complicated and detailed instructions, in order to plan and perform job functions. Ability to meet deadlines, to concentrate and pay close attention to details; also, ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently. Previous supervisory experience helpful.

Status: FLSA exempt position; OSHA high risk position; ADA negotiable position.

Physical Requirements: Varied activities include standing, walking, reaching, bending and lifting. Employee must possess full range of body motion including the ability to assist or lift patients when necessary; occasional weight bearing to exceed 50 pounds, use of portable stretchers/wheelchairs encouraged. Employee must possess hand-eye coordination with normal range of vision and hearing abilities. This position frequently requires working under stressful conditions and frequently requires irregular work hours.
