Cross Country Workforce Solutions Group is hiring an LPN in Barnesville, OH

 

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Location: Barnesville, OH

Pay:

 

Job Duties:


Provides high-quality assistance within the scope of service consistent with accepted standards of care for an LPN. Evaluates patients and implements treatment regimens under the supervision of the Physician. Provides complete documentation of all findings, treatments and outcomes. Works cooperatively with other clinical staff. Helps out where needed to ensure smooth, efficient running of the clinic.



  • Assists with providing patient care: records vital signs; discusses and records chief health concerns; performs tests; administers injections.

  • Places phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions; sets-up referral contacts.

  • Pulls and prepares patient charts; answers phone; performs other general office duties as required.

  • Maintains neatness of work area; stocks patient rooms with supplies.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Maintains strict patient confidentiality.

  • Assist in the patient referral tracking process


 


Knowledge, Skill and Technical Qualities



  • Ability to analyze medical records.

  • Ability to perform a full range of established nursing protocols and procedures within the scope of practice for a LPN

  • Knowledge of patient screening, charting and medical history procedures and documentation in a EMR

  • Ability to set up and prepare equipment and instrumentation in accordance with established regulations and guidelines

  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical co-workers

  • Knowledge of patient admission, triage, transfer and discharge procedures and documentation

  • Ability to cooperate with efforts to improve the operation of the clinic and the quality of patient care delivered.


Required Qualifications :

Education/Licensure  Requirements:



  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Graduate of an Accredited LPN program.

  • Licensed in the state of Ohio as an LPN.
