Locum Pediatrician

Pay Range: $120.00 - 160.00/hr

Requirements to apply:

Medical Degree: MD or DO

Board Certification: Board certification as a pediatric physician

Licensure: Licensed to practice in the state of California required.

Certifications: Current BLS/ CPR Certification as applicable

·       Experience: Experience and training as a physician.

·       Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on location preferred

·       Bilingual, Spanish and English.

Schedule: M-F 8am to 5pm

Job Overview

The Pediatric Physician plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission and vision, prioritizing patient-centered care, and teamwork. This position involves delivering comprehensive medical services to pediatric patients while also educating and advocating for healthy choices among parents and children.  Responsibilities include overseeing advanced practice providers, residents, and students when necessary.  You review patient records, document medical histories, and perform thorough examinations, ordering diagnostic tests and treatments as needed. You administer vaccinations, provide health guidance, and even conduct surgical procedures when required. Collaboration with care teams, instilling confidence, and facilitating team development are also integral aspects of this role, ensuring overall patient health outcomes align with the clinic’s goals.
