Cross Country Workforce Solutions Group is hiring!! We are looking for 2 great Medical Assistants to fill positions in Flushing Queens and Seneca Queens.
Medical Assistant (MA)
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Locations: Flushing Queens or Seneca Queens
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-5p
Benefits after 90 days
Bilingual requirement: Chinese/Korean or Bengali
Job Duties:
- Performs all routine medical assistant functions with consistency, according to policy/best practice and expected service standards, while adhering to the participants’ right for privacy and dignity
- Draws blood and collects specimens according to Infection Control protocols, per MD order and consistent with all other established policies/best practices.
- Accurately and without delay orders laboratory tests as per physician’s written orders
- Consistently tracks lab supply inventory and orders supplies as necessary while at all timed adhering to the approval process.
- Performs EKGs according to policy/best practice and expected service standards while always adhering to participants’ rights.
- Performs routine tests such as dipstick, blood finger stick glucose, and INR according to policy/best practice and expected service standards while always adhering to participants’ rights
- Provides coverage for the Front Desk Area as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Required Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Medical technician training. Vision screening training.
- At least one (1) year of venipuncture experience, preferably with the elderly population.
- Must be computer literate.
- Bilingual in either Chinese/Korean or Bengali
License/Registration:
- Medical Assistant Certification (must be certified Phlebotomist); EKG.
