Location: Shoreline, WA 


Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts) + Saturday rotation with a weekday off


Pay: $23.85 - $34.92 per hour (DOE)


Requirements: MA certification, BLS 


Job Type: Temp-to-Hire


 


Position Summary:


This role is responsible for supporting clinic operations by assisting providers with patient care, performing clinical procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records. The Medical Assistant will play a key role in maintaining efficient clinic flow and delivering high-quality patient support.


 


Responsibilities:



  1. Assist providers with patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations

  2. Perform vital signs, administer injections, and conduct Point of Care Testing (POCT)

  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMR systems (Epic preferred)

  4. Prepare, sterilize, and maintain medical instruments and equipment

  5. Handle lab specimens and ensure compliance with infection control protocols

  6. Monitor and manage clinic inventory and supplies

  7. Educate patients on procedures and follow-up care as directed

  8. Provide excellent customer service and patient support

  9. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and healthcare standards

  10. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care


 


Required Qualifications :

 



  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program

  • Active Medical Assistant Certification

  • Current BLS certification

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably with EMR systems (Epic preferred)

  • Ability to administer injections and assist with minor procedures

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume clinic

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
