Medical Assistant

Location: Shoreline, WA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts) with a rotating Saturday schedule (weekday off provided)

Pay: $23.85 – $34.92 per hour (DOE)

Requirements: Active Medical Assistant Certification in Washington State, BLS Certification

Position Summary:

The Medical Assistant (MA) will provide clinical support by assisting providers with patient care, performing medical procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR).

Responsibilities:

• Assist providers with patient care and ensure efficient clinic operations


• Perform vital signs, administer injections, and conduct Point-of-Care Testing (POCT)


• Maintain accurate patient records in EHR systems (Epic preferred)


• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain medical instruments and equipment


• Handle lab specimens and follow infection control protocols


• Monitor and manage clinic inventory and supplies


• Educate patients on procedures and follow-up care


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and healthcare standards


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program


• Active Medical Assistant Certification in Washington State (verification required)


• Current BLS certification


• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with EMR/EHR systems (Epic preferred)


• Proficiency in administering injections and assisting with minor procedures


• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume clinic


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
