Nurse Practitioner

We have an immediate need for a direct hire, full time Nurse Practitioner at our growing health center in Newark CA. We also have 4 other openings in our other East Bay outpatient centers!

Job Overview

Under the supervision and direction of the Physician and Center Director, the Nurse Practitioner provides primary care to our Call center patients by evaluating participant physical complaints and providing appropriate treatment. 


The majority of your time in this call center will be in answering email questions and phone calls for providers and their patients, when the provider is unavailable. Some calls and/or messages may evolve into telehealth visits, which are facilitated from the call center desk.

Another portion of your time will be focused on seeing patients in person in the nearby outpatient center, where you'll see a broad spectrum Family Medicine patients, including children. You'll work in a team with 7 physicians and 3 other Nurse Practitioners.


Required Qualifications :


  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and Board Certification

  • Active and unrestricted CA Nurse Practitioner license required

  • DEA State License

  • Minimum 1-2 years of primary care experience required, including at least 6 months in an outpatient setting.
