Job Overview
The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive medical care to geriatric patients. The position will manage chronic medical problems, attend to acute needs of the patient, and ensure preventive and rehabilitative care required. The NP incorporates the entire interdisciplinary team as appropriate to provide the medical care in a holistic manner.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner License in the state of CA
- ACLS
- CPR certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish, Arabic, or other) preferred
- Minimum of 1 (one) year working in a community clinic and/or Managed Care System
- Experience with geriatric patient population
