Starting Salary Base $230,000 (negotiable)

Job Overview      
The Ob/Gyn Physician is engaged in the active practice of medicine on behalf of the Clinic, stationed at assigned locations in San Antonio. The professional services of Physicians are specified in the attached job description, outlined in the Employment Agreements that secure their services. Their duties encompass the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of Clinic patients, adhering to administrative policies and procedures established by the Clinic. Obstetrical and gynecological services are delivered in both ambulatory and inpatient settings.


 


Physicians are mandated to provide ambulatory patient care at assigned Clinics, deliver inpatient care at designated hospital(s) based on granted privileges, and partake in a call schedule for after-hours coverage of Ob/Gyn patients. The Practice's structure includes operating hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with productivity goals set at 5,400 ambulatory encounters annually. Physicians, categorized as "exempt" employees, are responsible for scheduling arrangements to meet these goals. Hospital call coverage requires participation in a fair rotation, ensuring seven-day coverage. Physicians on call during weekdays are stationed at the hospital from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., providing care for Clinic patients. Additional call options are available with prior management notification.
