Job Description :
Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: San Marcos, CA



Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm


Pay: Salary $76,000-$90,000 (based on years of exp)

Requirements: Primarily work on-site at the PACE center, with occasional home visits for participants as required; mileage reimbursement will be provided.

Key Job Responsibilities:



  • Provide occupational therapy services to participants of the PACE program under the supervision of the Medical Director.

  • Participate as part of the interdisciplinary team (IDT) in assessments, care plans, and daily updates.

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, including ADL, cognitive, and home safety assessments.

  • Educate participants, families, and staff on therapy programs, durable medical equipment (DME), and body mechanics.

  • Supervise and train restorative aides and assist in program development.

  • Attend staff meetings and in-services, maintain confidentiality, and complete documentation/reports.


 



 


 


 





 

Required Qualifications :
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program

  • Current OT license in California

  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance

  • BLS/CPR Certification

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with frail or elderly populations (clinical placement experience may be substituted)
