JOB TITLE: Occupational Therapist




Location: Victorville, CA


Schedule: M-F 8-5


Pay: $45-48/hr




Requirements: 



  • Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population; appropriate clinical placement experience may be substituted.

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.

  • Current license with state of California.

  • Current CPR is required before engaging in direct participant care/contact.

Position Summary:  




Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors? Join us, where you’ll be a vital part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping elderly participants maintain independence and improve their quality of life. 


 


Responsibilities: 



  • Conduct initial, annual, and unscheduled assessments, reporting participant status changes.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and morning updates.

  • Develop and implement Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.

  • Perform intake screenings and create individualized care plans.

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments and ensure safety measures are followed.

  • Train, supervise, and delegate tasks to restorative aides and family caregivers.

  • Assess, order, and monitor the use of durable medical equipment (DME).

  • Educate staff, participants, and families on available therapy services.

  • Review and adjust restorative exercises as needed.

  • Communicate staffing needs and contribute to program development.
