Requirements
· Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry
· Current, unrestricted license to practice optometry in Washington State
· Experience in full-scope optometric care, including disease management and medication prescribing as allowed by WA law
· Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills with commitment to patient-centered care
We have an immediate need for a direct hire, full-time Optometrist to join our dedicated team in Othello, WA!
Job Overview
This is a full-scope optometry position in a community health center setting where you’ll provide high-quality eye care to a diverse, appreciative patient base. As an Optometrist, you’ll diagnose and treat eye diseases, prescribe corrective lenses, perform vision exams, and provide pre- and post-operative care for ocular surgeries. You’ll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and step into clinical leadership as needed.
You will also have the opportunity to shape patient care experiences, contribute to staff training, and support the integration of eye care with primary and behavioral health services—allowing you to truly practice at the top of your license.
