Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Onsite)
Pay: $25.03 -$31.64 (DOE)

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time 4 weeks, with possibility of extension
Position Summary:
Seeking a Temporary Patient Access Representative to provide front desk and reception support at a family clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and ensuring smooth patient check-in and check-out processes. Must be bilingual in Spanish and have strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients upon arrival.

Schedule and confirm patient appointments.

Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.

Collect and process payments as needed.

Answer phone calls and provide information to patients.

Assist with patient registration and data entry.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Coordinate with clinical staff for patient flow efficiency.

Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.

Ensure a clean and organized front desk area.

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum of one year in customer service; preferred experience in a medical setting (front desk, reception).

Language: Bilingual (Spanish English) required.

Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service, and attention to detail.

Technical: Basic computer skills and experience with medical scheduling systems preferred.
