PACE CNA/PCA

Location: San Ysidro-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (Full-Time Only)

Pay: $22.39 - $28.09/hour (DOE)

Requirements: Bilingual Spanish/English, CNA license (if applicable), Active BLS, High School Diploma

Job Type: Full-Time Temporary (45 days to 8 weeks, possible extension)

Position Summary:
Support elderly participants by assisting with personal care, home deliveries, and daily activities at a PACE center. Must be flexible, compassionate, and able to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Responsibilities:

  Assist participants with ADLs (showering, toileting, feeding, etc.)

  
  


• 
  

  Provide companionship during medical appointments

  
  


• 
  

  Help with home deliveries of meals and supplies

  
  


• 
  

  Support kitchen, therapy, and care teams as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain cleanliness of patient/program areas

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in meetings and ongoing training

  
  


• 
  

  Support clerical tasks (e.g., calls, data entry, surveys)

  
  


• 
  

  Provide transfer and lifting assistance (up to 50 lbs)

  
  


• 
  

  Adhere to infection control and safety procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with participants and staff

  
  

• 
  

  High School Diploma or GED

  
  


• 
  

  Active CNA License (if CNA)

  
  


• 
  

  Active BLS Card

  
  


• 
  

  Bilingual: English/Spanish

  6+ months of caregiving experience (1+ year for CNAs)

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to work full-time, no time off during the assignment

  Comfortable with physical duties, transfers, and working in varied settings
