PCA II
Location: Los Angeles, Ca
Schedule: Full Time / Hours between 8am & 2:30pm.
Pay:$23 - $26 - Depending on Experience

Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the PACE Supervisor. The PCA II will perform and assist with personal care ADLs/IADL’s for participants in the PACE across all platforms of delivery of care like center and/or in the home or virtual. The PCA II must be able to perform the job duties of a PCA I if assigned. In addition, the PCA II supports the PCA III in the gathering and reporting information related to the care coordination, participant’s ability to engage, maintain/ improve their ability, foster independence, maintain function or improve socialization, or satisfaction
Work Environment:
- When working in the day center, environment is climate controlled through central air conditioning.
- Work is performed across different platforms of delivery of care – may be located at Clinic Locations, participant’s home, virtual, telephonic or within the community environment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve customer service issues and/or escalate to supervisor as needed.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Guidelines including the Protected Health Information (PHI) privacy requirements
- Requires lots of patience and a kind/caring attitude
- Ability to work well with elderly population.
- Able to stand, sit, talk, stoop, lift (up to 25lbs.) for carrying out routine duties of the position
- A valid state driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- Certified Nursing Aide education and training. Nurse Assistant Certificate by the State of California, Department of Health and Human Services – Aid and Technician Certification
- Current CPR/BLS Certificate required.
- California Food Handler Certificate of Achievement upon employment preferred, must attain w/in 30 days of employment.
- . Prior experience working with physically or mentally impaired older persons strongly preferred.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on location, preferred.
- Experience working with the elderly patient population.
