Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Salary Range: $135,200 - $155,200 + benefits

  • Education: Graduate from an accredited Advanced Practice Nursing (APN) program with a specialization in Pediatrics.

  • Licensure: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Missouri.

  • Skills: Ability to perform all aspects of vaccination for clients as needed.


 


We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, outpatient position at a community health center in St. Louis, MO. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality pediatric care to underserved populations in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.


 


Job Overview


The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries related to the internal organ systems of pediatric patients within their specialty. This role involves providing comprehensive acute and chronic medical care and health maintenance specifically for pediatric patients, while also meeting productivity standards set by the Chief Medical Officer. Exceptional customer service is a priority, ensuring that all patients receive a positive experience. The Nurse Practitioner will also provide after-hours coverage for urgent healthcare issues on a rotational on-call basis, specifically for pediatric patients. Collaboration with the supervising physician is essential for reviewing care documentation, with 20% of charts being evaluated. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
