Primary Care Physician (Geriatric)


Salary Range $230k – $250k + depending on experience plus sign-on bonus - and potential relocation allowance. 


 


Requirements to apply:



  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree; Current; active and unrestricted MA State Medical License and DEA number.

  • Board Eligible or Certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics. (Family practice physicians with a strong interest in assisting our senior populations are welcome!)

  • Minimum one (1) year of post-graduation experience required, including some work with seniors - preferred. Or may consider a new grad, who has focus on Gerontology or Internal Medicine.

  • Seeking candidates who have a passion for working with senior populations.

  • Experience working with refugees or patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Our populations is of Spanish, Slavic, Arabic and/or English speaking cultures.

  • A second languages is helpful but not required, as other team members are bilingual.


 


We have an immediate need for a direct hire, full-time or part-time Primary Care Physician (Geriatric) at one of our growing centers!


 


Job Overview


Practice medicine the way it should be practiced - and be well compensated for providing the best care with compassion, empathy and a focus on wellness, rather than on patient volume! The Primary Care Physician oversees the medical care of senior participants in a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic setting, with some local travel to patient homes or skilled nursing facilities. The PCP will usually see 10-12 patients per day, with adequate time provided for charting, patient follow-up, and care coordination.  The team at this location consists of 3 nurse practitioners, 2 physicians, and other clinical practitioners, including social workers, physical therapists, etc. This is a highly collaborative team, which supports our senior's unique needs!  Our model is one of the most innovative, efficient and effective models of care promoting the highest level of independence for individuals with significant health care needs.  Our ideal candidate will have experience and a passion for working with seniors, excellent communication skills, enjoy working as part of a highly motivated, mission oriented, multi-disciplinary team - and will understand the principles of senior wellness and behavior change.

Required Qualifications :









Education

  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree; Current; active and unrestricted MA State Medical License (pending upcoming graduation is fine) 

  • DEA Certification.

  • Board Eligible or Certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics. (Family practice physicians with a strong interest in assisting our senior populations are welcome!)


Experience and Skills



Our ideal candidate will have experience and a passion for working with seniors, excellent communication skills, enjoy working as part of a highly motivated, mission oriented,  multi-disciplinary team - and will understand the principles of senior wellness. Residency or post-residency experience will be considered!


  • New and upcoming 2023 Grads welcome!! We will train!

  • One (1) year of post-graduation experience preferred.
