Salary Range: $281,000 - $316,000 + benefits


 


Requirements to apply:



  • Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited university.

  • Residency: Completed ACGME Accredited Residency Training in Psychiatry.

  • Board Certification/Licensure: Board Eligible or Board Certified as a Psychiatrist Physician licensed to practice in the state of Missouri.

  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to travel as needed.


 


We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team in St. Louis, MO, at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide vital mental health care to underserved, underinsured, and uninsured populations within a community-based healthcare system. Job Overview


The Psychiatrist plays a vital role in delivering clinical care, encompassing both acute and chronic mental health treatment and health maintenance for patients. Responsibilities include providing after-hours coverage for urgent healthcare issues on a rotational on-call basis. Practicing evidence-based and patient-centered medicine is essential, along with proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) for clinical documentation, lab orders, and radiology reviews, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with organizational policies. The psychiatrist must maintain the required medical licenses, certifications, and credentials. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. While we prefer a direct hire, we are also open to locum candidates.
